Google enters its teen with completion of 13 years as search giant on 27 September. The company started by Larry Page and Sergey Brin with four computers and an Investor of $100,000 has become the Internet search giant which changed the world. Google came out with a doodle to celebrate the birthday that shows the five letters of the company logo wearing party hats surrounding the cake with balloons and gifts wrapping. There is a debate with regards to Google birthday as Google.com domain name was registered on 15 September but Google celebrates its birthday on 27 September the day when the company was incorporated.

Interestingly the founders of Google came up with the name as a play on the word "googol", which means 1 followed by 100 Zeros. The name signifies the scope and scale of information Google presents to its search users.

Currently Google enjoys almost 90% of the internet search space as per Stats counter. Congratulations Google and happy 13th birthday, we wish you become even bigger with times ahead.
